Mk.V-36 | Advanced Knex Pistol | Ultra Powerful |(Instructions)
Once again, my brother convinced me to post his entry to our weekly Knex battle. So of course it features what 'little bro' enjoys most about his guns, power. This is so far the most advanced Knex pistol you can ever find. And it's coupled with good looks as well. It features a nice sturdy trigger you can never find on any other guns, a small handle which fits almost any hands (mine are large and it fits me comfortably). It is also a simple upgrade from the common Knex pistol with a barrel of 8-way connectors. The Mk.V 36 has integrated on it a 'bar' of Knex at the bottom of the barrel to aid trigger performance. This also allows for improved stability when shooting, as the barrel itself does not bend any which way. As a result, the overall performance of the pistol does indeed depend on the extra stability. The handle is also a vast improvement, with a few more pieces securing it to the barrel, which adds yet more robustness. It gets better when you find out pull the trigger. Nice and smooth, huh? Yeah, this was totally designed by my brother. He knows all the little tricks for power... I remember when his guns used to be a hunk of prickles. I have never yet made such a glorious little pistol, and maybe, according to the pictures you will find out the most important feature of this gun. How well it shoots. Note I have not included any firing pins or taped the trigger as usually required, as it is in your hands (haha) to do so. You can construct a firing pin by clicking here. You can copy it from there. Actually, the Mk.V 36 can use most firing pins. Little brother has desired to include some tips in the text below for aided performance. However, before you check that out, I would like to include a list of features:
- Shoots extremely well if tips have not been ignored*
- Smooth to pull trigger
- Extremely comfortable handle
- Ergenomic design
- Not piece consuming
- Easy to load*
- Very accurate
*See Tips. (From Little bro)
Tips:
If you want extra performance, I, 'little bro' highly recommend you do not ignore this broring (but very important) side of the instructable.
- 54mm rods. This is very important if you want any rubber bands on your gun. I normaly have around 5-7 thick bands, which enable it to shoot over 60 ft (Tested)
- Reinforced firing pin, It is recomened to have a reinforced 190mm rod. The reinforcement helps to regulate bending of the pin (very common in guns without a pin guide) Also it is recommended to have a ball socket instead of a 5-way or 2-way connector on the pin.
