Miniature Tabletop Basket Ball Using MAKEY MAKEY

Miniature desktop basketball using makey makey

Turn an ordinary paper cup into a miniature Tabletop Basketball hoop with the help of Makey Makey.

Toss a foil ball inside the hoop and if you do it right, you will see your score increase on a computer.

Supplies

  • Makey Makey Board
  • Alligator Wires
  • Paper Cup
  • Aluminium Foil
  • Thumb-pin/Double-tape
  • Scissors/Paper Cutter
  • Ping Pong Ball
  • Laptop/Desktop

Take the Paper Cup and Cut-out the Bottom Surface Using Scissors/paper Cutter.

Now Take Two Aluminium Strips and Stick It on the Brim As Shown in Figure Below.

Now Take the Pong Ball and Aluminium Foil and Wrap the Foil Around It.

Now Connect the Alligator Clip Wires to the Paper Cup Base (where Foil Strips Are Placed) and to Your Makey Makey Board(Space Key and Ground) As Shown in Figure Below.

Place Your Hoop on a Suitable Surface Using Thumb Pin / Double Tape.

Now connect your MakeyMakey to your computer and open the link https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/367433705/fullscreen/
