Start with a pattern. I made a simple bunny outline but it can be transferred into any animal. He is also only 3 inches high. Cut your pattern out. Now get your fabric. I have found thicker fabric works best and doesn't bunch up. But any scraps you have around will do. Mix and match colors and patterns. Pin your pattern to the fabric and cut out two bunny's.

Decorate

With your two pieces choose which will be the front and which will be the back. Now decorate. I like to give my bunny's eyes and a heart. But there are a million things you can add to give it that personal touch.

Time to Sew

Pin the two bunny's together with the face facing up and the back facing away. Start on the outside of one leg and start sewing around the bunny leaving a little seam. when you get to the outside of the other leg stop leaving the bottom part open.

Stuffing

Now stuff the bunny. Push the stuffing up into the ears first and then to the body. A pencil helps to stuff into the ears. Once the bunny is as full as you would like sew him closed.

And there you go you have your own mini plush bunny! Now that you have the basic design down you can transform your tiny bunny into anyone or anything. Here are some I have made for Letterboxes.
