The Connections are very simple
The 18650 battery is connected to the tp4056 battery terminals.
That is positive to Bat + and negative to Bat -
The next connection is the Output Connection
the output is coming through a DW 01 chip which protects the battery from under voltage
Simply connect the Out + to the tactile switch and the other end of the tactile switch to the Boost converter positive end .
The next is the connection between Out - to the negative of the boost converter .
Attaching the Screws/ Nails
![IMG_3692.JPG](/proxy/?url=https://content.instructables.com/F6C/M0XW/IT9JC6BM/F6CM0XWIT9JC6BM.jpg&filename=IMG_3692.JPG)
![Fullscreen capture 15-Sep-16 85732 AM.jpg](/proxy/?url=https://content.instructables.com/FGX/CP7Q/IT9JC671/FGXCP7QIT9JC671.jpg&filename=Fullscreen capture 15-Sep-16 85732 AM.jpg)
![Fullscreen capture 15-Sep-16 85824 AM.jpg](/proxy/?url=https://content.instructables.com/FO6/7A88/IT9JC670/FO67A88IT9JC670.jpg&filename=Fullscreen capture 15-Sep-16 85824 AM.jpg)
The next job is to attach a nail at the output , just strip some wire and wind it on the screw.
you can use nails or needle also . All it needs is aa sharp edge to make the sparks flow the pointed part .
After winding the nails it's necessary to insulate those parts preventing charge to flow , from there.
I used some heat shrink and electrical tapes to do it .
Gluing Everything and Having Fun

The last step would be to glue up everything , firstly the screws need to be glued on the step-up converter, apply a sufficient amount of glue else the nails will fall apart. You can also use some tape to hold it .
Next apply glue to the step up converter and attach the holder to the converters end. Now your plasma gun is ready give it a Shot and enjoy it.
I also tried some light trails with the plasma :D
