Mini Pecan Bites

Want to make something quick and easy for the holidays, or maybe a family party? Or maybe you just want a quick dessert to satisfy your cravings. Well, this is the perfect little recipe to suit your needs. These tiny, bite-size desserts are simple to assemble, and take only minutes before they're ready to eat. No special equipment is needed, and you should be able to find most of these ingredients already in your pantry or refrigerator. This recipe is fun to make with your family members and would be a sure crowd pleaser.

Ingredients

First step is to gather the following ingredients:

1 cup of butter

6 ounces of cream cheese

2 cups of all-purpose flour

3 cups of brown sugar

4 tbsp of melted butter

1 pinch of salt

1 tsp of vanilla extract

1 cup of chopped pecans

Make Pastry

First cream butter and cream cheese

Add flour and mix well.

Make into 48 balls.

Place one in each cup of mini tart pan.

Use fingers to press out tart shell.

Make Filling

Break eggs, don't beat

Add sugar, melted butter, salt, vanilla, and pecans

Mix well.

Fill tart shells

Bake

Bake at 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) for about 30 minutes or until slightly brown

Be sure to have them cool on a cooling rack first to prevent them from falling apart when taking them out of the mini tart pan. Cooling them down will also prevent a burnt tongue. Enjoy :) !!
