Mini LED Minecraft Beacon

Here is a small glowing model of a beacon from the game Minecraft.  The light comes from a cheap LED headlamp.  The LED, batteries, and switch are in the base (The part covered in black electrical tape; made from a sheet of aluminum).  The LEDs glow through the inner cube, which is made from clear plastic colored blue, with hot glue inside to diffuse the light.  There is a hole in the top, so that a beam of light can shine through like in the game.  The inner cube is encapsulated inside a larger cube made of clear plastic.  I made this to impress my Minecraft-obsessed friends.
