I decided to make a mini fridge because as a kid I used to love playing with mini toys, there are many kids who do not get these experiences and this fridge would go to someone who doesn't have any so that I am able to share my experiences with them, I also chose it to test my experience and how much I knew what to do.

Constrains

  • There was a time limit to publish it
  • The 3D printer malfunction
  • There is only so much I could do on OnShape
  • The project had to fit with in a category
  • Sometimes the design doesn't turn out the way you want

Supplies

I chose on shape and I chose to 3D print my chosen Model.

Research

This the main image that I chose to use as a reference.

Picking a Reference, Not Exactly the Same But Something to Base Off Of

This is where I did most of my research I decided to get different ideas and not make it based off just one.

Simulating

This image is the fundamental drawing, it is the doors, the drawers and the sizes themselves, you constantly go back and see the drawing as you are building your other pieces.

Designing

This is the process where you have to be exact with your drawings/ sketches in order for it all to tie together when assembling it.

Extruding

This the process of extruding when everything really comes together, this is a very important part because you have to be watching what you extrude, how you extrude, and if you are adding or removing pieces, this is the last thing you have to go check before going and assembling.
