Mini Drone

2.PNG

Have you ever seen a drone fly? Well, most time I have tried to fly a drone it has either crasher or flown away. Usaly it just breaks after flying it once. In this you will learn to make a single motor drone that fly's and lands quickly. This project I thought was going to go easily. It took way longer than I expected because I did not have the good and light base. I hope you like this project. Have fun!

Supplies

Popsicle sticks, hot glue, motor, 9v battery (Do not go higher), wires, and fan top for motor.

Make the Circut

The circuit is easy. To turn on your drone, you will attach a wire from the motor to the battery for it to start. Solder a foot of wire from the negative motor, to the negative battery. Solder a foot wire on the positive motor. Do not solder both wires. When you touch the positive wire from the battery to the positive wire from the motor, the motor should start spinning. Good Job! You finished have of this project.

Making the Base

Cut an inch and a half of popsicle stick. Measure the motor on the stick. Glue a inch tall piece of popsicle stick on each side of the motor. Keep it so you can still put the fan on. Find the middle of the first piece of popsicle stick, and glue the popsicle sticks carrying the motor on. Attach the Fan. Put the little creation on a cleared out space and attach the positive to positive. The motor will turn on, making the drone rise for a brief second. If something is wrong, try getting a different fan or motor. Try to lighten it. Thank you for doing this. Have fun.
