Mini Aqua Garden
To make a mini Aqua garden, you need to be more careful in every step because a sudden large change in water temperature, PH, hardness, etc will cause the fish to die in an instant. This effect cant be avoided Since fishes have no body heat, they are sensitive to sudden changes in water temperature.
Things You Need
- A Small Mason Jar
- Crushed Stones
- Mineral Water or Tap water
- Water Moss
- Money plant
- Baby molly (That's what i used)
Setting Aqua Garden
To set an aqua garden,
- you need to clean the mason jar without using any kind of soap or detergent. Using soap or detergent to clean the jar will definitely kill your fish.
- Add few stones after washing it in a running water, so that your will not get cloudy. here i used crushed marble stones.
- Now arrange the stone as per your liking
- Add tap water carefully and the water must not contain any chlorine. if you are not sure just add mineral water with a pinch of salt.
Adding Baby Molly
After arranging the Aqua Jar,
- Wait of few minutes until the water adjusts itself to the room temperature.
- Then introduce your baby Fish to the Aqua garden carefully.
Adding Plants to Aqua Jar
To make the Aqua Jar self sustainable,
- Add any kind of water moss so that the fish cal feed on them
- For Decorations, add some Money plant and let them receive indirect sun light.
I have been using this setup for more than 15 days now and i still never given my baby molly any food and it looks fine too. Hope you guys have fun creating an aqua garden of your own, feel free to visit my YouTube channel for more.
