Cut Out Cardboard

Take your cardboard and ruler and make a 6-inch by 6-inch square. Mark it up with a pencil and cut it out with your scissors.

Create the Base

Take your printed plan sheets and cut out both the top and bottom halves of the grid (these are the rectangles with words in them). Once they are cut out make sure you have the top and bottom in the right order. After that is checked glue the grids to the cardboard square.

Color the Pixels

Take the rest of the plan sheets and color the boxes according to the color key. I would recommend dotting the boxes as seen above before fully coloring them to ensure you have the right amount of each color.

Cut Out and Glue the Pixels

Once all of the pixels are colored, go ahead and cut them out. Then take your cardboard base, pixels, and glue stick and glue the pixels to the corresponding boxes on the grid.

Final Touches

Once all of your pixels are glued down, you can fill in any cracks with the markers and touch up any loose pixel edges. Now you have successfully made a fun piece of pixel art!
