Minced meat filled capsicum are one of my favourites.I make these only when my wife is home so that she can also contribute her pair of hands when it comes to rolling the capsicum in the batter.Always choose medium size  straight capsicum with the stem.

When the onions turn color add the minced meat little by little.Keep stiring until the minced meat seperates in to little bits. After about 10 to 15 minutes add the Paprika powder  ,curry powder  ,turmeric powder  and salt (in powder form)to taste. You need to keep on mixing it in a medium heat until it cooks. Now add the tomatoe puree and let it cook .Next  throw in the ginger garlic paste and the cloves..Please do not add water. After while add the chopped corriender leaves.
It is always nice to add fresh corriender leaves.I used frozen corriender leaves because I did not have the fresh one at the time of cooking. :(
Cover and let it simmer for a while on slow fire. There should not be any gravy once it is cooked.

Filling

Wash the green capsicum and slit in the middle from top to bottom on one side.Using your fingers remove the seeds away and fill the capsicum with the cooked minced meat. You can fill it full or just enough as long as the whole capsicum is filled.

Batter

Make the batter by mixing 1 or 2 cups of flour with a little water. When you mix it with your  hand you will know the consistency .
Have them all ready before you start rolling them in the batter.

At this point you need another pair of hands. As the bread crumbs are dry and the batter is wet. Thanks to my wife who rolled the capsicum on the  batter and passed it on to my bread crumbs tray. I rolled them  on the bread crumbs.

Fry

Once the oil is really heated drop the capsicum slowly in to the oil.fry two or three at a time. When you put too many in to the frying pan the coating  may come out while turning them.So watch out while frying.
Straight away transfer it to a paper plate or a kitchen tissue to get rid of the excess oil.

Ta Da!
