Milk Bottle Wicking Garden Pot


If you want to plant some seedlings, this pot will keep them adequately watered for many days.
Supplies
You'll need:
- A milk bottle (2 or 3 litre)
- A couple of handfuls of scoria
- Scissors
- Seeds
- An old t-shirt or piece of cotton fabric.
Rinse Your Milk Bottle

Cut the Top Off, Just Beneath the Handle.

Half Fill the Container With Scoria.

Cut a Rectangle of Old Fabric (cotton) and Cover the Scoria With It. Tuck It in Around the Edges.


Poke Drainage Holes in the Milk Bottle, Level With the Top of the Scoria.

Prepare Your Seeds, Planting Each One About 1-2cm Deep. Water.


Place Your Pot Somewhere Protected, Where It Will Receive Enough Sunlight.
