Supplies
- 2L translucent white milk bottle
- Elastic band

- Sense of adventure
Draw a Template
Fold paper in half along longest edge and draw half the template.
The size of the diffuser and lens hole depend on your particular setup.
Cut It Out
Cut out the template and unfold it to reveal the whole shape.
Check it fits over your lens and adjust shape as needed.
Transfer to Milk Bottle
Transfer the outline to the milk bottle using the template and marker pen.
Cut It Out
Cut out the diffuser from the milk bottle and trim to size.
Use scissors or a hole punch to make the two holes at the bottom
Add the Elastic Band
Tie both ends together with an elastic band, tight enough that the diffuser grips the lens.
If you need more diffusion add another layer of milk bottle.
Pop the diffuser on the lens and go for it!
Optional Cover
If you want to reduce the flash power to improve recycling times and save battery power then a cover between the flash and the diffuser will help.
This one uses a flexible plastic chopping board covered in black duct tape.
