Do you ever crave something crunchy late at night? or when you are in the car, or walking the dog? I love something crunchy late at night. I heard this recipe on a audible book I am listening to. The series is the Hannah Swensen Mysteries by Joanna Fluke. The book is a series about a baker that seems to find a lot of mysteries to solve. She includes the recipes for the goodies she talks about at the end of almost each chapter. I heard this in the book - Devil's Food Cake Murder. The recipe is called "Imperial Cereal" in the book. I changed it a little for my family's tastes and the ingredients that I had.
Ingredients

9 cups cereal (any cereal, I used Cheerios)
1/2 cups peanuts (any kind of nuts or combo to taste)
1/4 cup (1/2 stick salted butter)
1/4 cup orange juice concentrate (thawed)
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup craisins
Butter Flavored Pam
Preheat oven 300 degrees
Lightly spray a large cookie sheet with Pam
Spread the cereal and nuts on the cookies sheet
In a microwave safe dish melt the butter and stir in brown sugar, when butter is completely melted stir in thawed orange juice. Drizzle over the cereal-nut mix and stir to cover all of the mix.
Cook for 15 Minutes

Take out of the oven
Sprinkle the craisins over the mix
Stir, and let cool
Store in air tight container. I don't knowhow long it will last. I eat it all.
Enjoy!
