Micro Spinning Top


The following are instruction on how to make a micro spinning top toy.
Materials needed:
Small nut 1cm wide and .5 cm thick

5cm of aluminum foil

Step 1


Tear a peace of aluminum foil 2 cm long and 1.5 cm wide. Note: one can use longer and wider strips of foil for a thicker tip.
Step 2


Twist foil into a carrot shape 1cm to 1.5 cm long. One end of the shape should be thicker than the other.
Step 3


Take the nut and twist onto the thicker end of the foil.
Step 4

Take your completed micro top and give it a spin. To spin the micro top hold the tip between one's thumb and pointer and give it a strong twist.
