I had some mahogany left over from a buffet and customized for a bathroom vanity, so I decided to make a mickey hanger for my daughters pin and necklace collection.

After cutting the shapes I needed on the band saw and glueing them together I purchased some wood pins and glued them into corresponding holes. I then used a Forstner Bit to cut slots in the back for Keyhole Fittings for mounting. I stained the silhouette and the base two different shades for some contrast.
