Mexican Meal

This is an authentic Mexican meal that you could bring to your table. This meal was made with about $25, and takes about 1 hour and a half to make besides the beans (beans cook all day).

Ingredients- Chicken Flautas

2 cups shredded chicken (from either a rotisserie chicken or 3 chicken breasts baked in a foil packet)
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese
1/2 cup hot sauce (home made salsa)
salt and pepper
12 burrito sized flour (or corn) tortillas
cooking spray
salt for finishing

Preheat oven to 425. Line a baking sheet with foil, set aside

Start with the chicken and salsa and stir them together

Then add the sour cream into the mix of chicken and stir

Lay tortillas flat and add more salsa and chicken on top of the tortilla

Spray the pan with cooking spray. Roll almost burrito like and place seam side down. Add more cooking spray on top of the flautas.

Bake in oven on 425 until golden brown.

Ingredients- Rice

1 cup of rice
2 cups of water
Tomato sauce (1 can)
Knorr tomato bouillon (flavor of your choice chicken or beef)
Garlic (add to your desire)

Take a deep pan and put your cup of rice in it.

Fry your rice till brown, add 2 cups of water and boil till rice is soften.

After rice is soften and water has evaporated add tomato sauce, fill the can of tomato sauce half way with water, add to rice. Add knorr tomato bouillon a flavor of your choice. crush into small pieces, it will be easier to mix together while boiling. Add garlic how ever much you desire.

After you add all seasonings let the rice boil for 5-7 minutes so the ingredients could mix together (you should never mix rice it won't come out right.) Serve and enjoy!

Aguas Frescas Watermelon Ingredients and Materials

Full Watermelon
1 Cup of Sugar of your choice
Blender
Knife
Cutting Board
Strainer
Spoon
Container to keep fresh
Cup

Take the full watermelon and cut in half and remove the outer skin (including all of the white layer) repeat for the other half of the watermelon.

After you have removed all the skin and white parts of watermelon begin to cut the remainder of the watermelon into small triangles or squares. (repeat this step till the full watermelon is diced.)

Blend the chunks of watermelon and sugar

Strain the liquid and put it in a container for later or a cup to enjoy!

Flan Ingredients

1 can Condensed Milk
Sugar 2 tbs
3 eggs
1 Cup of milk
1 tbs vanilla extract Cinnamon 1 tbs

Preheat oven to 380

In a pan pour 2 tbs of water and 3 tbs of sugar. Put it on the stove and mix together for 2-4 minutes until it becomes a golden brown color.

After its nice and brown pour the mixture of sugar and water into the different round (optional) pan container, move around until its well coated.

Pour 1 can of condensed milk, add 3 eggs, 1 lbs of vanilla extract, 1 cup of milk, and 1/2 tbs of cinnamon into a blender.

Blend until it is evenly mixed.

After mixed pour into a round pan. Put that round pan in another larger pan filled halfway with water.

Put into the oven and let it bake for 45 minutes to an hour.

Before taking it out of the oven be sure it is golden brown
