Mexican Fish Salad - Ceviche

This time of the year is perfect for a refreshing meal. If you've traveled to one of the beautiful beaches in Mexico you know this dish is delicious.

It's also perfect for keeping your bikini body you worked so hard to get. It's healthy, nutritious, refreshing, tasty and easy to make.

Gather Your Ingredients

Three fish fillets (tilapia, basa, trout)

1/4 cup ketchup

1/4 cup Cilantro

1/2 onion

3 tomatoes

One lime

4 cups water

Marinate the Onion

Chop the onion.

Put the lime juice in a bowl, then add the onion. Let it sit for 10 min while you make the next steps.

Cook the Fish

Put the water into a pan and let it boil.

Once it´s boiling, let the fish cook for 3 min

Shred the fillets with a fork as shown in the picture.

To cool off the fish place the shredded fish in the freezer for 10 min. Or before shredding rinse the fillets with cold water.

Chop and Mix

Chop the tomatoes and cilantro.
Add everything to the bowl where you have the marinated onions, and finally add the ketchup. Mix. Serve immediately.

Because we used a lot of lime, leftovers would get sour, to avoid waste, eat it all.

If you like spicy/hot food you can add chopped jalapeño or serrano peppers.

Eat the salad with nachos or crackers.
