Metis Bannock
Bannock, can also be known as Indian bread. It can be found in North American native cuisine, including that of the Inuit/Eskimo of Canada and Alaska. The First Nations of Canada, the Native Americans in the United States and the Métis.
The best way to eat this is right out of the oven when it is still warm with lots of butter and Jam.

The Things You Need
That the Following ingredients:
4 cups All Purpose Flour
6 tsp of Magic Baking Powder
1/3 cup Shortening
2-3 Cups of 2% Milk
4 cups All Purpose Flour

The Prep
Preheat Oven to 375
While Oven is warming up mix all dry ingredients together
Add the 4 cups of Flour to Mixing bowl
Add the 6 tsp of Magic Baking Powder and mix throughly.
Add 1/3 cup Crisco Shortening and blend throughly.

Mix Together
Add milk Start off with 2 cup and mix add more if needed until it is a dough. When done mixing dust the ball of dough so it doesn't stick when you move it from the bowl to the pan
Lightly Flour to cookie sheet (Dusting)
Spread out dough flat with your hands or rolling pin to about 1 inch think
Poke with a fork repeatedly over the whole thing
Put in oven for 35 mins or until the Bannock is Golden Brown.

Enjoy
After 35 mins take the Bannock out of the Oven and let cool for a few mins
Then break off a piece and lather it in butter and Enjoy
