In my foods class, I made a fantastic Christmas treat! It was a delicious melting snowman. The product was a sugar cookie with white frosting to seem like a snow and a marshmallow as the snowman head. This is an amazing dessert to celebrate the holidays and bring to gatherings.

Supplies

The tools needed to make this delicious cookie are:

- a baking sheet

- kitchen aid mixer

- a cooling rack

- multiple piping bags.

The ingredients needed are:

- 1 ¾ cups of all-purpose flour

- 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda

- 1/4 teaspoon Baking powder

- 1/2 cup Softened butter

- 1 1/4 cups White sugar

- 1 egg

-1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extract

- 24 marshmallow

-1 container Vanilla frosting (betty crocker brand)

- 1 packet Food coloring (red, green, blue, orange, black)

Mixing Dry Ingredients

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. In a small bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Then set this bowl aside.

Mix Wet Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the butter and sugar until it's smooth. Then add the egg and vanilla and mix together.

Combine the Mixtures Together

After it is fully mixed, gradually add in the dry ingredients in the small bowl to the large bowl and mix together.

Rolling the Cookies

Roll the dough into balls and place them onto an ungreased baking pan.

Baking

Put the pan in the oven and bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden. Let the cookies sit on the pan for two minutes then transfer to the cooling rack.

Cookie Frosting

Take the vanilla frosting and put it into a piping bag. Once the cookies are cooled, pipe the white frosting onto the top of the cookies.

Adding Marshmallows

Once all the cookies are frosted and cooled, add a marshmallow to the back corner of the cookie.

Making Different Color Frosting

Then, put the vanilla frosting into bowls and add the needed color of food color to it and mix. Once mixed and you have the needed color, add to a new piping bag.

Adding Small Details

Now your cookies are done and ready to eat or bring to a holiday gathering!

Conclusion

The cookies are delicious they have just the right crunch and softness. They are adorable and everyone will love them on a snowy night. They are very easy to decorate and for people who don't like marshmallows, they are easily able to take off when you are going to eat but they are delicious with them too. This are an amazing treat that I would make again and love to share.
