Melting Galaxy Painting
Space and galaxy paintings are very beautiful. I've always wanted to try and make a space or galaxy painting, but they never really turned out... Until now! In this instructable you will learn how to make a Melting Galaxy painting! You can also make a colorful galaxy!
Supplies
Canvas
Paints: white, light pink, black, purple, gold or silver, aqua, dark blue, and a lighter blue.
Plastic gloves [ recommended because it will get very messy! ]
Covered work surface
Adding Some of the Paints
Open the bottles of pink, purple, white, dark blue, aqua, and the lighter blue paint and make thick [ and I mean thick ] lines [ anyway you like ] on the canvas.
Then pick the canvas up and let the paint roll down the canvas. Tap the back of the canvas every so lightly.
Adding the Black Paint
Add some streaks of black around the canvas, and let it drip off and tap the back of the canvas again.
Just to give you a heads up. There is a lot of letting the paint drip off and a lot of tapping the back.
Adding the Gold or Silver Paint and Some Other Colors
Take the gold or silver and make some thick streaks on the canvas.
Use any of the other colors to fill any of the white spots, including the sides of the canvas.
You guessed it! let the paint drip off!
Adding Some More White Paint
Get the white paint out again and make thin lines [ they look like shooting stars ] across the canvas.
Right again! let the paint drip and tap the back!
Optional
If you don't feel like wasting all that paint that dripped off the canvas, you can take another canvas and dip it in the left over paint, press down and you've got another beautiful piece of art!!
Drying Time!
Put the canvas or canvases in a warm, dry, and safe area for 24 - 48 hours to dry.
All Done!!
Yay you're finished! Honestly you should give yourself a pat on the back for completing this! I hope you had fun!
