This is a meditating light created using Arduino Leonardo based on this project I found here on the website. It's easy to make and doesn't require a lot of tools. I improved this project by a little hoping to make it better than it already is. This is the link to the original work below.

The improvement I made is that this ball will spin and the lights are gradually lighting up and fading like a breathing light.

Supplies

The supplies needed are as the followings:

Arduino board x1 (I don't think the type of the board matters that much)

LED lights with one colour x4

LED light that can change colour x1

Motor x1

Battery box x1

Batteries x2

Plastic ball x1

Toy car wheel x1

Setting Up the Circuit

The above is the circuit plan.

First you stick 4 LED lights with colour of your choice into the solderless breadboard. Connect the longer leg of the LED light with a wire that connects to the D-pins ~9,~10, ~11, and 13 respectively, a resistance (100 ohm) followed by a wire to the negative charge. Do the same with the colour changing LED light. The three longer legs goes to D-pin ~3, ~5, ~6 respectively and the shorter one to the negative with a resistance. Connect the positive charge on both sides together, same with the negative charge. Connect the positive charge to 5v and the negative to GND. Stick 2 two switches into the board and connect the longer leg to A-pin 0 and 1 respectively, then the other to the negative charge. Connect two wires from D-pin 7 and 8 respectively to the L298N motor driver, Connect two wires to the motor, one on the negative charge and one on positive charge. Connect two more wires, one to the negative charge of the board, one to the positive on the battery case. The negative charge of the battery case connects to the negative charge on the board. If there is anything unclear, see the picture/ diagram above to help. Connect a toy car wheel to the motor.

Create a 5 sided box, as the middle is used for the board and all other circuits, Cut a hole on the top and stick a ball stand into it. Stick the plastic ball above the stand with a hole for the lights. the switches should be long enough to be also fitted into 2 squares holes on the top with labels. Place the motor like shown in the third image, this will help turn the ball when needed. After putting everything in place, it shall look like the fourth image.
