Mechanical Pencil Cannon

In this instructable I will show you how to make a mechanical pencil cannon from a mechanical pencil, scissors and a spring.

First you unscrew the top of the pencil. 

Take out the insides of the pencil, making sure all the contents are there and working.

Now you take off the spring and cut off the plastic end that the spring was attached to.

Now put the spring inside the pencil shaft from the end, then reinsert the innards and screw the pencil tip back on. Now you are ready to launch your mechanical pencil cannon! Just put your thumb over the eraser and pull back, then release. The innards will sail out of the pencil and hopefully hit your target!
