Masala Maggi!

Maggi Noodles is the most-loved meal across all ages in INDIA. Made from the choicest roasted spices and quality ingredients, everyone has their own style of cooking it. But what really brings its goodness is the love we make it with. so today in this blog, we will make our Version of Instant Maggi noodles! we made this recipe in One pot, with a few ingredients, and so our love towards this most loved Indian snack.

Supplies

Things you will need to make this awesome Masala Maggie!

Groceries:

  1. Instant noodles/ Maggi
  2. 1 Tomato
  3. 1 Onion
  4. 1 small Carrot
  5. 1 Capsicum
  6. 1 Green chili
  7. 6-7 cloves of Garlic
  8. 100 grams Green peas
  9. Handful of Fresh Coriander leaves
  10. 2 tablespoon Oil

( you may add any more veggies you like )

Spices:

  1. 1 teaspoon Red chili powder
  2. 1 teaspoon cumin coriander powder
  3. 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  4. Salt as per taste

(you might need to dial-down spices since this is an Indo-Chinese dish, it can be slightly spicy for many.)

Finely Chop All the Vegetables

Preparation!

  • Wash and Finely chop all the veggies (beans, capsicum, carrot, onion, tomatoes).
  • Take a green chili and 7 to 8 cloves of garlic, Finely chop them too.
  • Now since the preparation is done and veggies are all set. We can now go to cooking part.

Sauté Onion and Garlic

Follow the recipe

  • Heat 2 Tablespoon of vegetable oil (or any edible oil) in a pot.
  • Add chopped green chilies and garlic.
  • Sauté till the raw smell of garlic goes away( till garlic turns slightly brown).
  • Add chopped onions.
  • Sauté till they turn translucent (slightly brown).

(pro tip: Don't overcook garlic)

Add the Veggiess

once the Onion and Garlic sauté is cooked well, we can add our veggies to this recipe.

  • Add the chopped vegetables (beans, carrot and capsicum) to the sautéed onions.
  • Cook the vegetables for about 2 to 3 mins.

Spice It Up

Adding spices is a spicy affair, specially if you are sensitive to spices, be careful with these since this is a medium spicy dish!

  • Add the following spices:
  • 1 tablespoon of red chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon of turmeric powder
  • 1 tablespoon of coriander cumin powder
  • Add salt as per taste
  • Add the instant noodle masala
  • After adding the spices, we will add Tomatoes to make a gravy of the sauces we used (cook it for a min till the tomato cooks nicely)

Mix all the ingredients and cook for about 3-4 mins.

Add Noodles

after our last step, we can add our main ingredient that is Noodles!

  • Add 2 cups of water and let it boil
  • When the water starts boiling Add Maggie noodles
  • Let it cook for 3-4 mins
  • Mix it well

Garnish With Cilantro

Last but not the least Garnish the dish with Cilantro (more commonly known as coriander)

  • Once the noodles are cooked add freshly chopped coriander and mix it well.
  • Tadaa! yummiest masala Maggi is ready.
  • Serve hot and enjoy.
