Marshmallow Snowmen

These fun, easy little marshmallow snowmen, with accessible ingredients, make perfect Christmas treats and gifts!

Ingredients

INGREDIENTS:

(makes 1 snowman) x however many you want to make

3 medium marshmallows

1 hershey's kiss

½ cup melted chocolate chips

1 orange skittle or other hard orange candy

1 thin wooden skewer

Glue Marshmallows Together With Chocolate

Melt the 1/3 cup of chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl for about two minutes on low setting, taking out every thirty seconds to stir.

Prepare a plate with wax/parchment paper, and set the three marshmallows on it.

Glue each marshmallow to the other with a dab of chocolate in the middle. Set to cool on plate, best in fridge.

Skewer and 'Paint'

Skewer the three marshmallows with the skewer (you can snap/cut it in half if it is too long).

Lay the resulting skewered snowman on plate and use a toothpick to dab on the eyes, mouth and buttons.

Final Additions

Add the piece of orange candy to the face as a nose by pressing it firmly into the marshmallow.

smear some of the melted chocolate onto the bottom of the Hershey's kiss and place it on top as a final touch.

Done!

Again, these make perfect Christmas gifts, and fun treats for kids. Be sure not to put in humidity. You can put these snowmen carefully in little gift bags, too.
