Marble Stone Jewelry Set

It's my pleasure to present a New Instructable to you.

I have chosen to give pride of place to natural Marble Stone.

It fascinates with its pure color and its history.
The word Marble comes from the Greek “marmaros” meaning “resplendent stone”. This Stone is suitable for helping in changes, decision making and encourages resolutions for renewal in life. Stone of initiative, it helps to be more reckless, more courageous.

I made a Jewelry Set, composed of a Bracelet and a White Marble Ring, by mixing 2 different ancestral jewelry techniques: Wire Wrapping and Soutache Embroidery.

To wear on your wrist for a Chic and Modern style, in perfect harmony with Nature.

To make these Marble Stone Jewelry Set , you need:

• 2 Marble Stones
• Pink Aluminum Wire
• 3 Soutache cords in nylon 3mm (pink, white & lurex white)
• Nylon 0,10 mm
• Pearl sewing needles, Nb 10/13.
• Scissors
• Liquid glue
• Sterling silver lobster clasp
• Sterling double loop jump rings
• Steel jewelry pliers set
• Pink pearls
• Czech white glass beads

Choose 2 marble Stones:

1 medium Stone for the Bracelet
1 small Stone for the Ring

It is better to use a Steel jewelry pliers set to tighten, fold back the wire neatly.

You can use a tube to get the rounded shape of the desired dimension.
You must first give a sharp beehive shape to the wire. Then slide the marble stone inside. Tighten the wires symmetrically and harmoniously. Place a strip of plastic or fabric to tighten the clamp against the wire, so as not to damage it.

- Soutache (Always put the lurex soutache cors in the middle)
- Pearls
- Nylon
- Pearl sewing needles
- Liquid glue (to stop the soutache cords)
- Scissors
- Sterling silver lobster clasp
- Sterling double loop jump rings

Create 1 part of bracelet of about 6 cm on each side.
Pass the 3 soutache cords through the wire loops, then sew 2 pink beads and 2 white beads.

Pass 1 double loop jump ring and 1 lobster clasp through all soutache cords.
Then round and sew to give this shape. Sew a small pink bead in the middle before attaching the flap on the right side of the bracelet. Go through and through with the needle. Place a drop of liquid glue on the part to be cut to prevent it from fraying.

Repeat the same on the other side of the bracelet.

This time, it is necessary to pass 2 double loop jump rings in the soutache cords. Then sew in a rounded fashion to close the bracelet. Place a drop of liquid glue on the soutache cords to be cut.

Use the small Marble Stone to make the Ring.

Form 2 circles with the wire, measuring your finger. Then cross them on top and insert the Stone. Give it the desired shape. Then fold the cut wire under the Marble Stone, tighten with the pliers.

Everyone can make their ring unique thanks to this Wire Wrapping technique. And each Marble Stone is so unique and original.
