Maple Manhattan
This is a variation on the classic Manhattan that introduces maple syrup and swaps black walnut bitters in place of the classic angostura.
Step 1: Ingredients
You will need:
Ingredients
Rye whiskey (but if you want to use bourbon, I won't tell anyone)
Maple syrup
Sweet vermouth
Cherries to garnish (I'm using sour cherries)
Black Walnut bitters
Equipment:
Cocktail shaker
Glass (I like a coupe glass)
Ice
Toothpick (for garnish, if necessary)
