Map Coasters

Map coasters are a fun and completely personalized alternative to regular, boring coasters. Choose your hometown, place you met, or other significant location!

Supplies

Print Maps

Find a group of maps you would like to use and print them on card stock. You can use regular paper, but it's more likely to wrinkle. I used this link, which filters Google Maps into a vintage look. Print or cut to size the maps to 4" x 4".

Glue the Maps to the Wood

Using the Mod Podge, glue the maps to the wood.

Seal the Coaster

Using the Mod Podge, glue the top, sides and back of the coaster to seal it. Do this in several coats.

Add Resin

Prop the coasters up above the work surface. Mix the resin according to instructions. Pour the resin over the back of the coasters. Once it cures, turn them over and pour another batch of resin over the front.

Enjoy!
