Manta Ray Kinetic
Hello, I made a Manta ray kinematic that looks like its swimming in the air and you can place it on your desk or as a gift!
I first model the manta ray from scratch in Blender and when I like how it looks, I tranfer it to Fusion to slice the manta ray fins equally and add the hinges and now it can swim in the air!
BTW I am sick and stuck in bed, apolgies in advances if this instruction does not make sense but after feeling better I will come back upload a clearer and better instuction, thank you for understanding.
Supplies
- 3D Printer
- Filament of any Color
- Wires
- Aluminum wires (strong enough to make a shape but bendable wires)
- A pair of pliers
Print the Manta Ray Model!
when printing the manta ray, I slice the tail and head as a separte in the slicer software and print the manta ray face down to up like the manta ray is standing in the spondbob movie big guy.
Don't forget to print the base of the manta ray we will be using it later on too.
