Beverages are a necessary part during a hot day and what better beverage than a mangonada. This great refreshing, fruity, and spicy drink is great for hot summer days or for any day really, and here's an easy step by step on how you could make one for yourself to enjoy!!!

Supplies

- 2 whole mangoes
-Sugar

-Cold Water

-1 Lime

-Tajin seasoning

-Chamoy

-Straw(s) (Tamarind Candy Straws *Optional*)

-Blender

Blend the Mangoes

-To start cut and peel 1 of the mangoes and put it into the blender.

-Next you're going to want to add the cold water, 1/3 of a cup of cold water works best but feel free to add as much water until desired consistency is reached. Also feel free to put the mixture into a refrigerator while doing the other steps but it may not be necessary.

-Add 1 tbsp. sugar

-Blend

Juice the Limes

-Cut the lime into halves

-Surround the rim of the cup on lime juice with one half of the limes

-Place tajin seasoning onto a plate and dip the rim on top of the plate

-Squeeze the rest of the lime into the cup along with desired tajin amount

-Rotate cup so the lime juice gets on the sides of the cup.

Adding the Chamoy

-With the lime juice around the whole cup/glass , add 1/2 tbsp. of chamoy to the cup/glass and mix it with the lime juice.

-Repeat the process of tilting the cup so the mixture of chamoy and lime juice go up and around the sides of the cup

-Tilt the cup once again slightly and sprinkle your desired quantity of Tajin Seasoning around the whole cup.

-With the 1 mango you have left peel and dice the mango into small chunks because we'll be using it later.

Pouring the Mango Mixture

-Pour the mango mixture into your cup/glass almost filling it up but not all the way.

-Also feel free to add more chamoy or tajin seasoning while pouring but it's not necessarily needed.

Straws and Diced Mango

-Since we did not fill the cup/glass all the way with the mango mixture top it off with a coupe of mango pieces that we have cut previously. Save or eat the remaining mango pieces because they're delicious and it's better to not waste food.

-Sprinkle 1/2 a tbsp. or more to your liking of Tajin and chamoy

-Finally finish it off by inserting a tamarind candy straw.

-Enjoy your fresh drink!!!
