Mango Sundae

A quick chilled and sweet creamy mango custard "ice cream" here in this indulgent tropical sundae, proving that you can have a delicious, frozen treat completely guilt free. Without further due, let's get started!

Step 1: Ingredients and Tools

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of milk
  • 3 tsp custard powder
  • 2 cups mango (frozen or fresh)
  • 1 cup vanilla ice cream
  • 2 cardamom chia seeds
  • 1 Basil leaf
  • 2 tsp of sugar

Tools

  • Food processor
  • Pyrex glass bowls
  • Stainless steel pan
  • Misc. kitchen utensils

Step 2: Prepare Custard Mix

Combine 2 cups evaporated milk and custard powder to form a smooth paste and stir it continuously. Add mango pulp. Whip well !

Step 3: Freezing

Freeze the mixture for 4-5 hours. Now, your custard mango ice cream is ready.

Step 4: Prepare Mango Sauce

Add coarsely mashed mango pulp, 2 tsp of sugar,2 tsp of water,2 cardamom chia seeds into the food processor and pulse until it becomes a thick paste. The mango sauce is ready.

Step 5: Plating

Take out your favorite cocktail glass, pour some vanilla ice cream and smooth the top. Pour your homemade custard mango ice cream and flat the top. Now, pour the mango sauce and flat the top. Add some pulp of mango on the top and a basil leaf. Serve and Enjoy!
