Making Yarn Out of Plastic Bags

These steps are an addition to the video but they do not replace the video.

Step 1: Get some plastic grocery bags

Step 2: Flatten one out

Step 3: Cut off the bottom and the handles turning the bag into one big tube

Step 4: Roll the bag up lengthwise

Step 5: Cut the roll width-wise into 1/2 inch wide strips (1.5 cm)

Step 6: Unroll 2 of the strips into 2 big loops

Step 7: Pull one loop halfway through the other

Step 8: Pull one end of the loop through the end of the same loop

Step 9: Pull it tight

Step 10: Repeat steps 6 through 9 with all of the strips

Step 11: Roll the yards of plastic yarn you created into a ball
