Making an Avocado Hair Mask

Natural way to moisturize dry, damaged hair.
This instruction set requires the use of a knife.
Gather Materials

- 1 Avocado (ripe)
- 2 tablespoons of Raw Honey
- 3 tablespoons of Extra Virgin Olive oil
- Bowl
- Knife
- Spoon
- Fork
- Measuring cups
- Cutting board
- Storage container
Prep Cutting Station

Place your cutting board in front of you and grab your knife and your avocado.
Cut the Avocado in Half

Start at the thinner part of the avocado and cut down to the pit and then work around the avocado until you reach you original starting place. Then separate the halves.
Remove the Pit

Easy way to remove it is to take your knife and hit the pit hard enough with the sharp side the it gets stuck, then twist and remove.
Cut Within Each Half of the Avocado

Cut within each half horizontally and vertically, be careful not to cut through the skin of the avocado. You will end up with multiple smaller sections that will be easier to mash
Scoop the Avocado Into Your Bowl

Using your spoon, scoop each half of the avocado into you bowl.
Mash the Avocado

With your fork begin pressing on the avocado and mashing it until the consistency is all even. This may take a bit of time but, the smoother it is the better.
Add 2 Tablespoons of Honey

Using your measuring cups carefully measure out 2 Tablespoons of honey and add it to your bowl.
Add 3 Tablespoons of Olive Oil

Grab your measuring cups again and measure out 3 Tablespoons of olive oil and add it to your bowl.
Stir the Ingredients

Using your spoon stir all the ingredients until they are mixed all together. At this time, you can go back in with your fork and mash any clumps that still remain
Place Your Completed Mask in a Container

Carefully dump your mask into the storage container of your choosing. At this time, you can also begin using the mask and then store any extra in your container.
Store Your Mask in the Fridge

Keep refrigerated until you are ready to apply your mask.
