Making a SpaceX Raptor Engine Model Using Paper

This idea came to me when I was going through the 'Paper Contest'. I should inform you earlier that this project was not that successful and the craft does not look as satisfactory as it should. But maybe, if you try it out yourself, you might come up with a better version than this one.

So, stick along and if you make it, do post it in the 'I Made It!' section.

Let's start!

Whatever you need for this project are usual household materials, so, I hope you don't have any problem arranging them:

1. An empty/used plastic bottle
2. Paper ( A4 sheets )
3. A pair of scissors ( NOTE: Handle them with care )
4. A Paper Cutter ( NOTE: Handle them with care )
5. Some paint ( Black/Silver Paint; I have used Black paint since I did not have Silver )
6. A paint brush ( Of an appropriate size )
7. Glue ( Suitable for pasting paper on plastic )
8. A reference image to make the Raptor ( I have attached them here )

That's all you need, now, let's begin!

Using the pair of scissors, cut the upper part of the plastic bottle and to get the shape of the base of the engine in the reference image. Make sure you don't cut yourselves and don't forget to give the base a clean and smooth cut so that it stands vertically upright .

Now, proceed

1. Tear small pieces of A4 sheets to stick them on the surface of the base
2. Using the cap of the bottle as a container, mix one-two drops of water with the glue on it and using the brush, paste the pieces on the base
3. Make sure to cover the upper part of the base as well.

NOTE: Wipe off the table if you made a mess like me

1. Put the cap back on the base and stick a small square piece on its top
2. Take two/four small rectangular pieces of the A4 sheet and stick them on the top of the bottle cap.
3. Make a cylinder using the A4 sheet and paste it on the structure you made

1. Make some cylindrical and cuboidal structures using basic folding techniques.
2. Stick them on the cylinder you made on the earlier step taking reference from the 3D Image ( Attached in Supplies section)
3. Using a paint brush and paint, cover the entire model
