Making a Scrunchie! (Jewelry of 2022)

You may have noticed that scrunchies have become quite common to wear as if it were a bracelet! So here I will show you how to crochet a scrunchie to add to your jewelry box.

For supplies all you'll need yarn, a crochet hook, a hair tie, and scissors.

To begin, tie a knot onto the hair tie. Then with your hook pull up a loop and chain one.

Next place single crochets all the way around the hair tie this number could range from 35 - 45. Once you've single crocheted all the way around slip stitch into the chain one you made at the beginning of the round.

For this round we'll create the ruffles!! To do that Chain two, then place two double crochets in each stitch around. Then slipstitch into the chain two that we made at the beginning of the round.

To finish creating the scrunchie cut and weave in all your ends!

This project is perfect to make with left over yarn that you don't want to sit around. As well as super sweet to give as gifts!
