Do you want to protect your laptop? A laptop bag is a great choice. Prepare your long scarf, two buttons, clips, a marker and your sewing tools, then you can start making one laptop by yourself!

Step 1: Measuring the Size of Your Laptop

It is important to make sure that your bag will fit your laptop. Looking up the size of your laptop online may be a good choice, but measuring by directly putting your laptop on the scarf may be easier and more correctly. Prepare a big and long scarf, then simply put your laptop on your scarf, fold the scarf and measure its length by putting two little clips as marks on the scarf. Make sure that width of the folding scarf is longer than the width of the laptop.

Step 2: Cut It, Sew It!

Using scissors to cut the scarf along the mark you made with clips. Do this for only one side first, then sew this side; then measure to make sure if the length changed so you can change the length of the scarf. Do the same thing to the other side.

Step 3: Sewing the Long Side

After sewing the short side (the width of the laptop), sew the long side as well.

Step 4: Cute Buttons!

We want to make a bag with a cover which can be closed, so it is a good choice to put two little buttons on it. If you don't want to do this step, your laptop bag is done. Making a mark on where you want to put the buttons, then sew them on the scarf. Make sure that you sew them on the side which will be covered by the cover!

Step 5: Finish!

Put the cover on, then find where the buttons are and make marks on the cover. Using scissors to cut small holes along the mark on the cover, then sew the edges of the holes so they won't be loose. Then your laptop bag is finished! Yeah!
