Making a Homemade Pizza
What's your favorite at-home food? My favorite food has been pizza for as long as I can remember! Making a homemade pizza is a lot easier than it seems, you just need some simple steps. Today, I will be sharing my at-home pizza-making process!
Finding the Right Supplies.
It doesn't take much to make your favorite pizza. Making a traditional pizza contains these materials:
1) A pan to fit the size of your pizza and something to spread your sauce out with
2) Dough; can be gluten free, fat free, or anything of your choice
3) Sauce; can be red or white
4) Cheese; can be parmesan, mozzarella or any shredded cheese
You can add ANY toppings you like on top, it all works!
For my favorite pizza, I add pineapple:)
Pick the Pan You Want to Use.
Picking a pan for your pizza seems easy, but you have to find the perfect size, so your pizza doesn't cook over the edge of the pan! Most of the time, it's all about guessing. It's better to have a bigger pan so you have extra room for your dough to bake.
Grab Your Best Dough.
Your dough choice varies on your preference. You can find gluten free, fat free, sodium free, or any dough you want.
Roll Out Your Dough Into Your Pan.
Rolling out the dough is one of the hardest steps. It's hard to make the pizza symmetrical, but no worries! Your pizza doesn't have to be perfect, it's just for you.
Pour Your Sauce Onto the Rolled Out Dough.
Pour your desired sauce all over the dough. Make sure not to get the sauce on the perimeter of the dough, because that's where your crust is.
Pick the Cheese of Your Choice and Pour on Top.
Picking your cheese is easy, just find your favorite type from your local store! Pour your cheese evenly throughout your pizza. You can have a lot, or a little. It will all cook the same!
Spread Out Your Pepperoni Evenly.
Having pepperoni on your pizza is optional, but it's one of my favorite toppings! It adds flavor to your pizza, and makes it look more appealing. Spread your choice of pepperoni all over the pizza. You can put as much as you want, but I would suggest having an even amount on both sides of your pizza.
Spread Out Your Pineapple Evenly.
Everyone has different opinions for pineapple on pizza... In my opinion, I think it's delicious! Anyways, spread your desired pineapple all over the pizza. We're almost done!!!
Place Your Pizza Into the Oven.
This step is definitely the easiest, just be sure not to burn your hands! Place your pan into the oven, on either rack.
Let the Pizza Heat Up in the Oven for 20 Minutes.
Leave your pizza in the oven for 20 minutes. If you want your pizza to be burnt, then add a few minutes. It all depends to your liking!
Take Your Pizza Out and Let It Cool Down.
Firstly, put an oven mitt on your hand, so you don't get burnt! Slowly take your pizza out of the oven, and place it on any counter. If you want your pizza to cool faster, I would place it onto a separate plate.
Cut Your Pizza Into Symmetrical Pieces, and Enjoy!
Cut your pizza into even pieces and enjoy it with family or friends!
