Making a Chess Board

It is a way of playing chess with different colors and different dimension .

Supplies

Making the Board

To start you need to now how many squares you needs to make the board. First you need 64 squares next to each other. The squares need to be 20cm bay 20cm and in all rows there should be 8 squares.

Color Coding the Board

After putting them tougher, you should color coded in tow different colors. I shows red and black, you could shows white and black or any other color you like.

Making It to in Interesting Board

The next step it is to make in a new dimension, to make it more interesting. There for you chang the hight propotion of all the squares. The red squares size adjustment are 32, 2x 19.05cm, 4x 38.10cm, 6x 57.14cm, 8x 76.19cm, 6x 95.24cm, 4x 114.29cm, 2x 133.33cm, and the size adjustment for the black squares are 32, 2x 19.05cm, 4x 38.10cm, 6x 57.14cm, 8x 76.19cm, 6x 95.24cm, 4x 114.29cm, 2x 133.33cm.


Making the Chess Pieces

Every chess pieces has his on shapes and settings for the building proses. The first step is always the same. tube 16.33cmx14.96cm (hight 2.86cm), torus 20.41cmx18,70cm (hight 4.71cm), ring 18.78cmx17.06cm (hight 0.95cm). in this order you starting the lower part of all the pieces. In the Supplies you can all the shapes you net and there size in the right order.

Color Coding the Chess Pieces

You can choose which colors you want to use for the chess pieces like me, but make sure that the pieces fit exactly into the fields and are 46cm tall.

Name Each Row on the Board

In a normal chess board, each row has a specific number from 1-8 and a specific letter from A-H. you can add these rows with the text tool and make sure that the letters are behind the chess pieces.
