Making Toilet for Barbie Dollhouse
The house is finished, it attacks the room layout.
Getting started: the toilet.
Made from a plastic detergent bottle and medium wood (MDF) for the seat and lid, I tried to be as realistic as possible while building strong that it lasts over time.
Creation of the Bowl
The bowl is cut in a laundry drum.
The cistern is cut in a cream bottle for baby.
It is then painted in white and varnished.
Seat and Cover
I used 6 mm MDF cut with a scroll saw.
It is painted in pink "Barbie".
Fixing and Some Water
A screw used to attach the bowl in the ground. It is masked by a piece of plastic (water bottle cap).
Water is imitated with a hot glue gun.
Assembly
Small hinges are placed between the seat and lid and the bowl is glued to its support with a glue gun.
Mounting
Toilets can now be installed in the Barbie house !
