Making Card by Recycling Fabric.

Making and sending cards are an amazing way to spread love and warmth. And how awesome it'll be if we can do that while recycling our old clothes! In this instructable, I am gonna show you how to make a lovely card by recycling fabric.

Supplies

1) Cloth pieces
2) Scissor
3) Glue
4) Threads
5) Needle
6) Cotton
7) Stones

Cutting Piece of Fabric From Old Clothes

First you need to decide the size of your card and the basic design. Then you have to cut the piece of fabric from the clothe you choosed to recycle. Draw the vasic design on it. And cut the other pieces accordingly

Glue the Pieces

Now you need to glue the templates on the main piece of fabric

Making the Braids for Decoration

Now we are gonna make three braids from pieces of folded threads to decorate the card and glue them to our main fabric.

Making Borders of the Templates

To make the templates stand out, we are going to make a border around them with cross stich but you can use other stiches as well. Keep the clour of the templates in your mind while choosing the colour of the thread for the border

Embroidery the Templates

Now write down your favourite quote or message on the templates and draw it out with chain stitch.

Putting Stones for the Decoration

Choose some stones of your liking and sew them around the templates. I chose tge stones from a torn necklace

Making an Adorable Doll for the Card

Now we are gonna make a little doll. For that take some cotton and place it over a piece of fabric. Then squeeze the fabric around it making a head. After that you need to bind the head with a thread. Lastly draw his eyes and mouth and sew it to your card

Putting the Fabric on the Card Paper

Lastly put the fabric on your card paper. You can either glue it or sew it. Cut out the extensions

Done!

Tada! Your card is now ready to gift to your dear ones!
