Put the cupcakes in the oven for 14-19 minutes. To tell if the cupcakes are done, insert a toothpick in the middle of one of the cupcakes. If the toothpick comes out clean then they are ready, if it has batter then the cupcakes need more time in the oven.

Once the cupcakes are ready, take them out of the oven and let them cool for 10 minutes. Make sure your cupcakes are cooled before moving to the next step.

Decorating and Finishing the Cupcakes

Take a knife and dip it in to the frosting. Smear the frosting over the top of the cupcake, creating a thin layer of frosting on the top of the cupcake. Repeat for every cupcake. Optional: Once all you cupcakes are frosted, you may choose to put sprinkles of the top. Congratulations, you have finished making your cupcakes.
