Makedo Paper Heart Chain

Decorate your home by making a paper hearts chain. All you need is left over gift wrap, patterned paper and Makedo re-pins and re-clips available at mymakedo.com.

Find

Source sheets of reclaimed gift wrap and patterned paper.

Cut

Cut the sheets into strips 30mm wide.

Cut the 30mm strips of paper into three different
lengths

Punch

Using the point end of the safe-saw. Punch a hole at each end of the coloured strips.

Build

To form a heart, 6 strips of paper are needed. Place the strips above one another ranging from longest to shortest for each side of the heart as shown in the image.

Connect

Using the Makedo re-pin and re-clip, connect the strips together at one end. Ensure that the shortest length is positioned on the outer side when connected.

To form the heart, hold each end of the paper and bend it outwards. Bring the ends together and connect using a Makedo re-pin and re-clip.
