Makedo Easter Bunny
Make an Easter Bunny this coming holidays.
Our Easter Bunny is made from very simple materials found around any home. We used an egg carton for the head (to hide our chocolate goodies inside), old kitchen sponges for the ears, a cake mix box for the body, two plastic lids like ones you might find on yoghurt containers and Makedo parts available from mymakedo.com. Makedo Re-clips and Lock-hinges enabled us to very neatly and quickly fasten materials that would be more difficult to join using sticky tape or glue alternatives.

Find
Source materials from around your home. For this we used an egg carton, kitchen sponges and lids to make the bunny’s head and a box for the body.
Punch
To make the head, use the Makedo Safe-saw and punch 2 holes on the top of the egg carton. This will be where the ears will connect.
Connect
To create the ears, cut the sponges in a leaf shape and connect to the top of the egg carton using Makedo Re-pins and Re-clips.
Punch
Punch 2 holes on the front of the egg carton for the eyes. Punch a hole in the center of the lids and attach it to the front of the egg carton using Makedo Re-pins and Re-clips.
Punch
Now it’s time to give it a body. Use the Makedo Safe-saw and punch 2 holes on the bottom of the box. This is where the head will connect. Align the holes with the bottom of the egg carton to locate where to punch the holes on the egg carton.
Connect
Place a Makedo Re-pin through the box and thread it through the egg carton. Secure the Bunny head to the body with a Makedo Re-clip.
Cut & Connect
Your Bunny is almost complete! The final touch is adding features to it. Using the template that Makedo has supplied, cut out the shapes and fold on the indicated lines. Attach the features on to your Bunny with Makedo Re-pins and Re-clips.
Complete
Your Makedo Easter Bunny is complete! Take it for an Easter scavenger hunt or hide all your easter chocolate goodies inside its head where noone will find it.
