Use regular yogurt to make your own Greek style thick and creamy yogurt.
You can see it is so thick it retains the impression of the strainer! A final stir produces an almost cream-cheese-like smoothness.
You Will Need:

Regular yogurt
Strainer
Bowl
Break Up the Yogurt.

Since it comes in nearly a solid block, stir it thoroughly to break up the curd and allow for better draining.
Spoon Into Strainer Over the Bowl.

If you have other aromatics in the fridge such as onions, you may want to cover it with a bowl or plastic wrap.
Next Day, They Whey Will Have Separated From the Yogurt.

The volume will have been reduced, but it will be much thicker.
Save the whey (from the bowl) for use in pancakes, waffles, or oatmeal. It adds a nutritious punch and a slight tangy flavor.
Spoon From Strainer Into Container.
