That Lovely Sweater

Once there was a very warm wool sweater I really loved! It was hooded and I loved the colors on the shoulders. But as it goes with all loved sweaters they get holes in it, or get stained...
This is me wearing the sweater so you can see what I mean with the colors on the shoulders.
I've cut along that beautiful colors and the rest I've been using for other projects.
Needed for this project:
Shoulder part of your beloved wool sweater.
Cotton about the same size to make a bag for the linze.
1 kg linze
2 poppers
Needle and thread or your sewing machine

I've carefully removed the zipper parts and folded the piece in half. Putting the seems that were already there on each other.
I've sewn along the colored lines and after that zigzagged the fabric.
Also I've measured the longest part of the case (since it is round shaped) and made a cover for the linze.
I made it from leftover cotton such as a sheet. Make 3 compartments and fill each one with 333 grams of linze.
(First make a long pocket, fill with 333 grams of linze, sew 1st line, fill again with 333 grams of linze, sew 2nd line, fill again with the rest of the linze and close)

This shows how I've added some poppers.
I've used parts of the same cotton I used for the bag to prevent the poppers from tearing the wool.
Now close the poppers and i'ts done.

Remove the cover, wet the bag of linze by spraying some water on it.
(or wet your hands and dry them on the bag)
Put the bag in the microwave for 3 min.
Put the cover back on and let this heat pad rest in your lap to help with the belly ache, or warm your feet, or your hands...
