Make a Quick IPhone Dock/ Stand.

Well, I was looking for something to use as an iPhone stand, and also a use for the cardboard end of a duct tape roll (it just looked so darn useful), when an idea popped into my head.
Gather Materials!

One duct tape roll end.
One 1.5in length of craft wire or any malleable wire
One iPhone charger, with USB to 30 pin chord
One X-acto knife

Mark Roll and Cut

Not characteristically difficult (although tricky to photograph with only 2 hands), mark the tape roll at the ends of the roll where you would like your phone to sit. Now, cut along the recently made markings. My incisions were about 1.8 cm apart (to accommodate the case) for the depth of the phone, and on opposite sides of the roll. However, for you perfectionists out there, you can hit up Apple's website for the exact dimensions (12.5 mm)
Fold Away!

Now, simply fold down the incised "flaps". You may cut off the remaining tags, but I kept mine for no particular reason.
Wire Wire Catch

Use the previously mentioned wire to act as a wire catch for the iPhone 30 pin. Use the razor or a nail to make a small hole in the roll near one of the flaps, and stick the wire through. Knot or bend up the wire on the interior of the roll, and wrap the outside end around the 30 pin cable.

Voila! Your dock is now finished! Mine fit nicely on my bedpost, and acts as a very convenient alarm clock. If it doesn't, you will probably want to secure down the dock with velcro or tape. The cardboard roll is easy to write on with sharpie, so go ahead, get creative! Write a motivational note to your semi-conscious self! "You can do it!" or "Wake up!".
