How to create a forklift control panel in Fusion360 Cad Software. I am entering this into the Student Forklift design contest, and I attend Energy School.

Open Fusion

First Open Fusion then create a new sketch. Click the green button.

Pick the Orientation.

Touch the plane you want to draw on.

Create a Box

Create an rectangular box. I used the dimensions of 600 by 800 millimeters then extruded it 254 millimeters.

Chamfer

Chamfer the image until it is almost all the way down.

Buttons

Circles.png

Draw 2 separate sketches. On the first sketch draw 2 152 mm circle sketches on the sketch plane. Extrude the entire face of the sketch 1 inch. These will be the buttons for the forklift. On the other sketch extrude it 10 inches.

Detailed Tutorial on the Steering Wheel.

See the blue circle extrude it downwards to create this.

Draw Another Circle.

Draw 2 circles one that is slightly bigger than the other. Extrude upwards everything that is highlighted. It should look like the image on the right.

Okay

Okay you are done you could add texture to the CAD, or move the steering to the left.

The two buttons are Up and down and the steering is for steering. It is less complex than, the steering in the picture. You could also make joystick controls. Enjoy the project. You can also render the CAD in the RENDER tab.
