Make a Minecraft Pig!

InstaMorph is a special crafting thermoplastic designed to heat up so that it can be manipulated like modeling clay. Once it cools, it hardens into place. Later, it can be reheated to be manipulated again.

In this tutorial, we will show you how to make a Minecraft pig.

For this project, you are going to need:

Heat It Up!

There are a few different methods for heating up your InstaMorph.

You can use our tutorial for a digital induction warmer here.

We also created a tutorial for using a heat gun here.

Additionally, InstaMorph has alternative methods and other suggestions for more advanced projects here.

After your InstaMorph cools enough, you will need to press or knead it out so it is all the same even consistency.

Next, roll up several balls of InstaMorph of varying sizes.

You need a body, a head, and legs.

Remember, Minecraft pigs are very "blocky." That's the basic shape we're going for here.

You can reheat the InstaMorph if it starts hardening on you before you have shaped it.

Decorate It!

Now, try painting your pig with pink crafting paint!

After the paint dries, you can add a face with permanent marker like Nic has done here.
