Make a Card Out of Dry Wall Samples!
Hello! Today I will show you how to make a cute design out of dry wall samples! This is really fun and easy. I have made many of these, and still have ideas for more!
Sketch Your Idea
First, you need to come up with an idea that matches your sample color. After you do that, you sketch your design with a pencil. The marks are very dark and look like pen, but can easily be erased. Mine is a devil as you can tell.
Draw the Big Parts
Put the paper under the sample. this is so it doesn't get messy. Next you need to draw the really big parts with the paint pens. I would recommend drawing light and then dark.
Draw the Outline and Smaller Parts
Now, you need to draw the parts that are a bit smaller. this is a bit harder. After that, sketch the parts that are too thin for marker again. (For me it is the eye outline.)
Use the Colored Pencil
This step is optional. For the super small details, use a colored pencil to draw over the paint. this makes it look better.
Sign It
Finally, you sign your name and you are done!
Check Out My Cards!
I have made many, but here are a few. The planet looks kinda bad because it blended. My favorite is the sunset even if it is simple.
