Make Your Own Tatting Needles

After seeing TotusMel's work, I decided I wanted to learn Tatting, too. First I tried with a Shuttle, but Tatting with a Shuttle is SO different from Tatting with (what I saw) a needle! So I started looking for needles online. But just about all needles cost about 15 Euros! 8S Than I remembered I still had a lot of clay, from making clay beads for necklaces a few years ago. These were perfect for making my own Tatting needles! So I kneaded, and kneaded, until I had made 2 different sizes of needles. I put my new self made clay needles in the oven for 15 minutes, at a temperature of 150 Degrees Centigrade, and than I had my own, new, self made Tatting needles!
